INNOCOM signs strategic contract with Ministry of Defence - Cyber Force

Cyber Force -the Fourth Force of the Belgian Defence- has signed a long-term agreement with INNOCOM, establishing a strategic collaboration for the next eight years. INNOCOM will support Cyber Force in its journey toward achieving full operational capability.

This ambitious project focuses on the modernization, centralization, and optimization of cyber risk management within Defence – across all branches – with planned expansion into critical sectors and public administrations.

The initiative will unfold in several phases. In the initial phase, INNOCOM will be responsible for:

  • Defining and formalizing the services Cyber Force will deliver to other Defence components.
  • Establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) to streamline coordination of ongoing and future initiatives, often in collaboration with external partners.
  • The development of an integration architecture and the set up of an architectural capability for managing the numerous and different systems. INNOCOM will guide the stakeholders towards a coherent end-to-end architecture.
  • Enhancing Cyber Force’s detection and monitoring capabilities for military systems and networks, including training and coaching where needed.
  • Ensuring quality assurance across all initiatives to maintain high standards and consistency.

Through this collaboration, INNOCOM reinforces its expert role as a trusted partner for businesses, governments, and defence institutions in the fields of digital transformation and cybersecurity.
