What is Art in the Park?

Art in the Park is the annual open-air art exhibit hosted by INNOCOM. The initiative is organised by INNOCOM’s special art committee that consists of Ernest van Buynder - honorary chairman of Mukha, Natania Dan - curator JCQ and INNOCOM’s very own founder Johan Cattersel.

Many well-known artists have lent their aid to the exhibit in the past. This year, Art in the Park puts no less than six artists from three generations in the spotlight:

  • Paul Van Hoeydonck
  • Jean Bilquin 
  • Nick Ervinck
  • Vince Okerman 'Vexx'
  • Anna Nunes

  • Guévørk Aivazian

The exhibit, which takes place in the park of INNOCOM’s headquarters in Beerzel, close to Mechelen, is free and open to the public during the month of June so everyone can enjoy the beautiful pieces on display.

The grand opening of this year’s exhibition takes place on Friday, 26 May at 18h30.
25th Anniversary Celebration + a walk & talk in the Park surrounded by Art.

Reception and opening speech followed by a walking dinner. The six artists of this year will be present.

How do I get to Art in the Park 2023?

Art in the Park will take place in the park surrounding INNOCOM’s headquarters at Heiststeenweg 131, Beerzel. We have closed off the street in front of our headquarters and transformed it into a free parking lot for our visitors. To get your vehicle safely parked, please follow the vallets’ instructions.
