Academic
Community
From the start in 1998 we have a strong collaboration
with the academic world which allows us to stay tuned
with the latest theories and concepts in business and
ICT consulting. We combine this state of art conceptual
thinking with common sense and pragmatic action. Our business
model, based on the collaboration with the academic world,
is unique. There are no other organizations like Inno.com.
The
Inno.com Advisory Board consists of professors
from various universities and management schools. They
represent an intellectual elite, aggregating years of
business and technology expertise gained at the highest
levels. The Advisory Board fulfils several roles within
the Inno.com community:
- It acts as the link between Inno.com and the academic world, channeling the exchange of knowledge and experience in both directions. By synchronizing all research efforts, it makes sure that people with complementary knowledge find each other to exchange their findings.
- As some problems require a considerable intellectual effort to be grasped, the Board also functions as a high-level problem solving entity, debating issues of the highest complexity. When we face important choices during the execution of a project, the Board formulates its advice after carefully considering all the options.
- Members of the Advisory
Board can be appointed as guardians of a project.
This means that they have the duty, if necessary, to place project issues on the agenda of the Board. The Inno.com project leader is regularly in contact with this liaison to make sure any issues are dealt with in time. - Finally, the Advisory Board helps determine the strategy of Inno.com and helps identify the opportunities and possible pitfalls of new directions that Inno.com may wish to explore.
The
Strategic Committee is responsible for the overall
strategy of Inno.com.
Members of the Strategic Committee include the management
team and representatives of the Competence Centre, the
Advisory Board and the board of directors.
The objective of the Strategic Committee is to shape Inno.com’s
future direction, govern the strategic evolution of our
4 service offerings and give guidance to the Competence
Centre to effectively implement the offerings in client
projects.
The
Competence Centre is a group within Inno.com dedicated
to promote knowledge sharing and learning. It closely
collaborates with the academic partners in order to achieve
this. Another key responsibility is the definition and
management of Inno.com’s service portfolio in close
cooperation with the Strategic Committee.
More operational responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance of all Inno.com projects and proposals
- Definition of architectural guidelines
- Making Inno.com’s vision available to the outside world. This includes publishing white papers, event participation and speeches at conferences.
The "Battle of the Brains" Foundation is a gathering of ICT experts, the academic community, industry and government, joined together with Inno.com consultants for one single purpose: to help increase the adoption rate of new technologies in complex ICT environments by independent and intensive knowledge and experience exchange. It is a unique platform where participants from various backgrounds can help and inspire each other to deal with these issues. The aim is to create an "executive and exclusive forum of excellence" in ICT-strategy combined with a platform for related activities such as roundtables, workshops, academic sessions & education on specific topics.
